preparations

Sunday, July 10, 2005

this sunday passed with most of our time devoted on preparing louraine's party needs. nanay and i went to the flower shop for the roses and bouquets, red ribbon for the birthday cake, to tita grace and ate jingjing's haus (they're helping us on this). the invitations are not yet finished, it was only today that we have finished finalizing the programs and the attendees (18 roses, 18 candles etc). louraine, our youngest, is turning 18 this 19th. my brother, marl, is also celebrating his birthday on the 20th, so the party is a double celebration. here are some shots of her give-aways...

lola bought this hanky and had louraine's nickname embroidered on it. on top of the hanky is a sample of louraine's souvenir for her party

louraine's souvenirs

another shot of louraine's souvenirs

the souvenirs, no tags yet

the soon to be 18.

nopes, she's not one of our give-aways. while jaene and i were buisy attaching tags to the key chains, tatay called me up at our backyard. "tignan mo yung muning, umakyat na sa kulungan ng manok" .. so there goes, another shot of muning. by the way, "muning" is so generic.. they still got no names yet.

another shot of muning.

weird

Friday, July 08, 2005

i've had a weird dream last night.

i was holding a baby girl, about 6 months old. it was a cute baby -- blond hair, fair skinned, chubby cheeks. i'm not sure though if the baby was mine or was just entrusted to me.

i got in a car. again, i had no idea where i was going. i took the front seat, beside the driver. i was having trouble on holding the baby (the car is not yet in motion). then a lady approached me and told me that i could detach the baby's head from her body so i would have no problem at all in carrying her. no blood shed, the baby did not even cry. it happened as if it was a normal thing to do on babies.

weird.
