goodbye, roxy

i was about to take my sunday afternoon siesta when rm called. she delivered the sad sad news about roxy. i couldn't believe when i first heard about it, that roxy was gone already. i called will, to confirm the news, not that i don't believe rm, but i just have to hear it again.

until now, i am still hoping that this is not true. i can't imagine rox gone just like that.

i can still see roxy, vividly in my memory. the cheerful chinky eyed girl who always had that gleeful voice. i can't recall any ugly quality she had. sounds like to good to be true, but that's who she really is, she was...

days ago, i was about to blog about heath ledger's death. how life seems so unfair, that he died at the height of his career, at the prime of his life. he was only 28, rox was only 24. their lives still ahead of them. so many worlds to conquer, so many dreams to pursue.

i still remember the last day we saw each other. we spent a lovely afternoon at the coffee shop taking pictures through your new sony ericson phone, taking several shots until we found our right 'angle' at the right 'lighting'. we were both teary eyed then, knowing that you're going away for good, and that we'll only be both seeing each other through 'ym'.

wherever you are, i hope you find whatever it is you are searching for. and i hope you find your way Home soon. i will miss you.
