During the month of October, our Parish' feast month (feast day is on the 3rd sunday), 100 images the Our Lady of the the Most Holy Rosary are being taken by 100 families every night to their homes. The image will be offered on the following day at the evening mass.
We got our's last Friday night and offered it on the 7.30pm mass on Saturday.

you know how lola's deal with things, they rarely (or never) throw away things without a good fight. in my closet, i still have clothes dating back when i was still in high school. sabi ko ipamigay na, sabi nya wag daw, sayang naman, baka magamit ko pa someday. yah right.

finally got what i wanted for so long!
a curtain rod awaits me in my room when i got home last night. louraine and lola's room had theirs installed this weekend, i had mine only yesterday.
we grew up having curtains only in the sala, kitchen area and nanay & tatay's room. our rooms only have windows with jalosy and screen to protect from rain and mosquitos. i had to endure the afternoon sunlight beaming towards the side of my room if i had to take siestas.
the use of curtains and carpets were actually discouraged because sister J has asthma. and since our little homey doesn't have an air conditioning, save for nanay & tatay's room, the curtains would have gathered dusts faster.
since tatay had started the painting job on our gates and window grills, he included the curtain rods as well. so now i'm thinking of going to quiapo or divisoria soon for some curtain shopping!
next photo is the scent i so badly want. the last bottle i had was confiscated on the eheads concert. since then, i have scoured every perfume sections in the department stores and every px stores but to no avail. but on thursday last week, while s, r and i were having our afternoon break, we went inside a px store at the mall beside our office building and found this! happy happy joy joy! the big bottle is being sold for 500 pesos. but we made tawad and the sales lady agreed to sell it for 480. i only bought it yesterday because i only had meryenda money with me then.

went to gracie's at 8-ish. no one's there, watched tv while waiting. evee came after 10 or 15 minutes. called gracie, they're still having dinner at alabang. we went ahead but snatched a few twix bars first before leaving.
kendi and greysi's already there. everyone had java choco chips except for evee who had green tea. sugar overload!

got a pedicure after a long long time. it's not my routine. the last i had was about 2 years ago.

lola's group was assigned to usher the mrs. pacita pageant held at the pacita astrodome, beside the parish church. i tagged along and of course, took pictures.

kopee session.
evee was already in our house waiting when nanay and i arrived from the nearby pharmacy (gone to church before that). went to gracie's after and stayed for a while to meet the new pet and play with the kiddies.
starbucks mamplasan. kendi was already there. had two bags of clover chips. played with kendi's zoom toy. usual chit chats. done at minutes past 1am.
